She’s always been an icon, I loved her in Funny Face & I want to BE her. So, when I thought about what I was going to wear to school this week, I thought of wearing ankle pants like she did here, except I had to roll mine up! Haha! Because when you’re 5 foot 2, there’s nothing you can really do with your inseam…
I jump from school to work all the time. It’s kind of funny because there are days where I really want to be outrageous and wear all these different types of colors at school, but realize that I need to be a lot more professional. At work, it’s the opposite, where I really do intend to wear the pink or yellow pants that I usually go for because when I’m with my colleagues, I tend to express myself more.
So, with school I don’t ever go wrong with my basic flats and tote. I actually got this tote from the Marc by Marc Jacobs in the Fillmore District for only $35! It’s Jacobs by Marc Jacobs, actually… but it fits my laptop, my sketchbook + pen & my wallet… just the three things I really need for school.
I thought I could mimic what Audrey had done in Funny Face… but I currently don’t have her sexy turtleneck or her amazing flexible body of course, so this will do for now :) And this outfit isn’t only something Audrey would wear, but something my mom would wear… and I think that’s what makes it special. She really loves her navy blues and her blacks.
Now go on and watch Funny Face! You know you want to!
